About Goodwill

Built in Buvuma, for communities often left at the edge.

Goodwill Educational Initiative UG Ltd is a company limited by guarantee and operating on nonprofit principles.

Our purpose

One local platform for learning, wellbeing and livelihoods.

Goodwill brings together services that families experience as connected—not separate problems.

Its organisational objects cover educational support, vocational skills, school health, community infrastructure and a responsibly governed revolving fund. Work is rooted in Buwooya Sub-county, with Goodwill Nursery and Primary School as a partner institution.

Mission

Transform rural school ecosystems.

To connect quality education with confidential paediatric health support, age-appropriate vocational training and affordable community financial support.

Vision

Resilient African communities.

A future where every child in hard-to-reach communities has equal access to quality education, medical protection and practical economic skills.

How we work

Community participation

Local people are partners in identifying priorities and shaping practical responses.

Inclusion and dignity

Girls, vulnerable households and persons with disabilities are expressly included in the organisation’s objectives.

Accountability

Programmes are intended to follow Ugandan law, responsible stewardship and transparent partnership.
